More than a mountain inn – a summit feeling
Berghaus Foppa is run by Gastro Foppa AG under the management of Sebastian Kern, who has held the role of host there since winter 2015. He is a trained and experienced hospitality professional and, together with his team, shapes both the kitchen and the on-site service. Young, motivated – and fully committed!

A place with a past. And a future.
Berghaus Foppa has been part of the Flims mountains since 1961. Originally built as a meeting place for the Flims Ski Club by the then Berghaus Foppa cooperative, the mountain inn quickly developed into a place for connection, enjoyment and mountain moments – valued for its location, its cuisine and its openness.
In 1993, the mountain inn was converted into a public limited company and continuously developed further without losing its original character.
The fire in autumn 2024, which completely destroyed the inn, marked a profound turning point – and at the same time the beginning of a new chapter. With respect for its history, Berghaus Foppa is being reborn. The reopening is planned for summer 2026. Until then, we welcome you at the Foppa alpine hut next door.
